As many of you know, my sister went in for surgery last week. In celebration of this medical success, I thought I should dedicate a post to just that. I thought and thought of what to write, but came to the conclusion that Madison, my other sister, said it best.
"Hello Everyone, Raina's heart surgery went very well today.
We were able to keep the original stent in her heart and increase it's size.
It is truly amazing how God works. During Raina's last surgery, around four years ago, the inner wall of her aorta suffered a minor tear. I questioned God and the doctors as to why this should be able to happen to someone so important and dear to me. Little did I know that the little perforation would end up being a blessing in today's surgery. The scar tissue from the tear made her aorta's tissue stronger and allowed us to maximize the use and width of the stent. Praising God not only for what He did today but for what He did four years ago to prepare the way. Thank you everyone for the love, prayers, and unconditional support.
My family and I have truly been blessed. Please keep Raina in your prayers during the recovery stage and that this procedure will continue to keep her heart pumping well:). Thank you all again."

Here are just a few photos of my favorite muse.
Cheers to God's hand on her wonderful life.
